Three-star OL Dawson Deaton commits to Texas Tech
Frisco (Texas) offensive lineman Dawson Deaton announced his commitment to Texas Tech on Saturday.

The three-star prospect chose the Red Raiders over offers from Cal, Colorado, Houston, Mississippi State, Virginia and others.
Deaton is the fifth prospect, and third offensive lineman, to pledge to Texas Tech's 2017 recruiting class. One of Deaton's Frisco teammates, Rivals100 standout Jack Anderson, committed to the Red Raiders in October.
The commitment of Deaton (6-foot-5, 290 pounds) likely means that Texas Tech will take at most one more offensive lineman in 2017.
